Linda and Val is a short story featuring two school-going girls. Val is a newcomer, whereas Linda is a smart girl. Their teacher, Mr. Daniel puts them in pairs for an experiment. Val suffers from a physical condition called cerebral palsy. In the beginning, Linda isn't very happy with her teacher's decision. However, with the passage of time, Linda realizes Val is a nice girl. Despite her disability, she has the will to do things.
